Housekeeping
I have been thinking for a while that it is probably time to update the list of members of the Knitalong. I know a lot of people who joined have finished by now, which is great, but it would good to have an idea of who is still knitting, or has just started.
So, can I ask people to leave a comment to this post letting me know if you have finished, or if you are still knitting. If you are still knitting and haven't posted a picture, maybe just let us know how you are doing, what yarn you are using etc. That way we can all get an update on how we are doing and I can update the sidebar and we can welcome the new members of the knitalong as well.
If I don't hear from people I will assume you are done and put you down as having finished - I hope that's OK with everyone.
And just one other thing, if you ask to join the knitalong and don't hear from me within 24 hours that is probably because you haven't included your email address in your initial enquiry. Unfortunately it doesn't show up automatically on the message I get and I am unable to reply to you without it, or add you to the knitalong. I do check my emails every day, so you can be assured that I will always reply if I am able to do so.
I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone is doing!

Still working....(planning stages)
Stacey
I just finished the lower body and am about 40 rows into one of the sleeves, so I'm about half way?
Also, I'm using Rowan Handknit DK Cotton in the Tope color on US 6's.
I'm just starting today. :-)
BTW, my yarn is Rowan Kid Classic.
Still working-- I have the body done, and part of one sleeve, but haven't been able to work on it since the beginning of summer. I hope I'll be able to pick it up again soon.
I'm using andean silk from Knit Picks in sangria.
My comment didn't seem to work. I'll try again, sorry if it repeats...I just started my hourglass and pictures right now would be infinitely boring. I am using Peruvian Highland Wool in Coffee Bean Brown and Admiral Blue. I am almost to my second decrease row. I will post pictures soon!
Well, I'm starting over today, it seems. Not to self, if the color's not a solid, use two balls at a time and alternate them. :(
I'm using butter-soft merino from Handpainted Wool on eBay. It's the same as the merino at handpaintedyarn.com or Malabrigo.com.
i started mine awhile back but frogged to make a smaller size, but haven't picked it back up in awhile. and i am making it in some teal colored cash iroha. not sure if i gave my email when i first signed up but it's kungfucujo@gmail.com.
I am still working on mine, in Artyarns Supermerino. My e-mail address is Illanna24@aol.com . I already have access to the blog from the last time I joined the knitalong, but I just need to be put into the sidebar. My blog is www.knitpowerstopeace.blogspot.com
Hi, Mary--
I finished!
Thanks,
Nicole (Cascade 220)
Hey there I have just started on mine a bit late but working on it. I am using the Noro yarn.
I just cast on tonight with Knit Picks Andean Silk in Leaf. Inspired by Illanna's ribbing (and total laziness about the idea of hemming), I've decided to trim mine with a few rows of seed stitch.
oh, and my email address is starrylkjATyahoo.com
Hi, I deleted my other comment to remove my email address, but I wanted to let you know that I have the yarn, have swatched, but have not really officially begun the sweater!
Hi there! I've bought my yarn but I haven't started yet. Too many xmas present plans going on right now, plus baby shower gifts. I hope to get to it soon though! I need to do *some* knitting for myself this fall.
Hi there!
I'm still working on it. Will post pictures in the next few days. :)

PS: I'm also planning another Hourglass after this one, so please don't remove me yet!!
Should have added:
I'm using Lang, 'Fantomas', superwash.

99% finished, but I'm not happy with what I have, and I might frog and start with a new yarn. I suppose I should post pics, huh? ;)

Got my yarn, then had a baby, but I'm back and this is still my dream sweater pattern--don't delete me!
