Picking a Yarn

Hello! I just joined today but I've been following the kal for a little while. I've been searching around for the Cash Iroha (Canada) and it's been really difficult to locate at a reasonable price. While I wait for a few mail-order lys to get back to me I'm considering a few other options. Basically I'm wondering if KnitPicks Andean Silk would be a decent sub for the Cash, both in drape and sheen.

Any opinions? Thanks!

I looked at the Andean twist also, but in the end decided against it as I didn't love the colors. The cheapest sub I found was the Plymouth Stone Cotton, but it is being discontinued so I decided against chasing down vendors. Instead, I decided that I would have to convert the pattern to accomodate a yarn a I liked. My top contender is Elisabeth Lavold Silky Wool. At $6.95/ball, it's not cheap, but it's not as pricey as Cash Iroha either.
